Scenario 3: Private listing and multi-inventory listing are bound with Hostex at the same time

Applicable to: the same listing on some platforms, and multiple independent listings on other platforms.

This section describes how to use Hostex WEB terminal to bind independent and multi-inventory listings to Hostex at the same time. For example, Booking has listed a listing with 10 inventories, Airbnb has listed 10 independent listings. Booking comes with an reservation and Airbnb automatically locks the property.

Instructions of independent listing and multiple inventories simultaneously:

First, put the created properties into the room type. The number of properties in the room type is the inventory of the room type. Then bind the multi-inventory listing of the channel to the corresponding room type, and bind the independent listing of the channel to the room.

As shown in the figure below, the arrow represents the binding process.

• When there is a reservation for the independent house in the channel --> the room bound with the room is locked --> the local inventory of the room type is reduced by 1 --> the inventory of the multi-inventory house on the channel is reduced by 1 (the delivery reservation is 4-> 1-> 2 -> 3)

• When there is a reservation for multi-stock inventory, the local inventory of the room type bound with the room is reduced by 1-> the room in the room type is randomly locked 1-> the channel independent apartment locked room (the delivery reservation is 3-> 2 -> 1-> 4)

Overview of steps:

1. Create properties.

2. Create a room type and bind the properties.

3. Link the channel accounts.

4. Bind listings.

Specific steps are as follows:

1.Create a properties

Click [New property] and name it accordingly. The property name is only used for internal management and will not be seen by the tenants.

The number of properties created is equal to the number of stocks. For example, if there are 3 multi-stock listings, the inventory of each listing is 2, and the total inventory is 3 * 2 = 6, then 6 properties are created.

2. Create a room type and bind the room

Click [room type]->[new room type] to create a room type, name the room type accordingly, and select the properties included in the room type. The number of properties in a room type is equal to the number of stocks. The inventory of a room type is +1 for each room.

3. Link the channel accounts

Click [Me-->Channel Manager] to enter the channel account management page, and click [+] to add an account. After all the accounts have been added, click [Sync Listings].

4. Bind listings

Multiple inventory listings are bound with room types, and independent listings are bound with rooms corresponding to room types.

As the picture shows:

• The [multiple inventories] is bound to the [room type];

• The [independent listing] is bound to [property] of the room type.

Ensure the channel icon on the room type is lit, this indicates that the binding was successful.
