  3. Connect Airbnb via API

  4. Link the Airbnb listing to the room type

See below for details.

For Hostex users, skip to step 4; For new users, please read step by step.

1. Log in Hostex and create properties.

The proprety name is for internal management which can not be seen by the guests.

Tip: the number of preperty created = the number of inventory. For example, if there are 2 multi-inventory listings, the inventory of each listing is 3, and the total inventory is 2*3=6. That means you should create 6 rooms.

2. Create room type and bind the preperties.

Name the room type according to the actual situation, and select the properties that the room type contains. Only the room type supports the multi-inventory. The inventory of room type will increase 1 once put into 1 property.

3. Connect Airbnb via API.

Me - Channel Manager - Airbnb [+] - API Connection - Sync Listings - Listing Binding

Tip: Only choose API connection can turn on airbnb's multi-inventory mode.

4. Bind airbnb listings with room type.

If airbnb's listing is bound with the room type, it will automatically open airbnb's multi-inventory mode, and the inventory number is equal to the number of property in the room type.

Tip: the listing must be bound with the room type, or you won't be able to turn on the multi-inventory mode.

So far, the multi-inventory mode of Airbnb has been successfully set up. Inventory will be affected when the properties are added or subtracted or new orders are placed or cancelled.
